Wastecycle have recently launched a new and innovative City Recycling Scheme aimed exclusively at businesses within Nottingham. Most people want to recycle, but the public perception is that this will take too much time and effort. NOT with Wastecycle.
The City Recycling Scheme can help businesses in Nottingham to dramatically reduce their ever increasing waste disposal costs, and environmental impact. Under the new City Recycling Scheme, Wastecycle will recycle up to 95% of all the waste collected before transporting it back to our Material Recycling Facilities in Nottingham.
At Wastecycle we believe that recycling should be made easy. The City Recycling Scheme is designed to provide a straightforward and reliable recycling service at a low cost. We will install a simple recycling system in your business, and also provide best practice training to raise awareness.
What can be recycled?
Under the new City Recycling Scheme Wastecycle will collect any product that we consider to be recyclable. We will set up recycling bins throughout your office which we can then collect to an agreed schedule.
Wastecycle will collect the following recyclables:
- Paper
- Plastic Bottles
- Aluminium Cans
- Glass Bottles & Jars
- Cardboard
If you wish you can implement a segregated recycling scheme, where an individual bin for each of your waste streams; paper, plastic etc. will be supplied. Additional savings can be made though the separation of your waste.

The City Recycling Scheme is a unique system that will lead to cost savings for all businesses. Because Wastecycle recycle a high percentage of the waste we collect we are able to pass our savings on to the customer, by offering reduced rates free from landfill tax.

Collections
Wastecycle will supply recycling bins and bags that can be conveniently located throughout your premises at the key waste generation points. Depending on the size of your business you can either place the recycling bags out for collection on an agreed day, or we can provide you with a wheeled bin. Lockable wheeled bins are principally aimed at large scale waste producers, and those wishing to recycle glass.
Wastecycle have a diverse range of bins that can be used to dispose of your mixed recyclables. These range from the traditional household size up to the larger 1100 litre bins, depending on the needs of your business.
Collections can be as frequent or as infrequent as you like and are tailored to suit your requirements.
